As a lifetime acrophobic (although much, much less so than when I was a child), I'd think that the last thing that I'd want to watch would be a first-person view video of someone falling 12,000 feet after their parachute doesn't open. Perhaps I can because he's chatting with his friend a few minutes later.

I saw that story. Freakish, but I'm really glad he survived to tell the tale.
