The worst movie tie-ins ever

Old Yeller Dog Food is bad enough. I have to confess that I've never seen the movie--and probably won't ever, because Old Yeller looks quite a bit like the Golden Lab I had as a kid--but I can understand the trauma that it caused innumerable kids when they saw the movie; Bill Murray even references it in Stripes.
But this atrocity... what... what were they thinking? I haven't seen this movie either, but just the description on Amazon is nearly enough to bring me to tears. (One reviewer said, "This movie doesn't move you, it shatters you.") My desire to track down the people responsible and slap them hard and repeatedly has abated somewhat since I read about it this morning, but I still wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.
